AHOY, Latest Collab!

FoxSea is an itty, bitty brand, and it’s still just a one woman operation. Since I can’t make everything I’d like to offer on this little site, I regularly collab with talented women with other skills. Featuring limited edition, FoxSea-style products crafted by artists and makers I admire has been such a thrill.

The latest FoxSea collab is the most adorably nautical postcard you ever did see. Marie Gardeski of Imaginary Animal is so skilled, and possesses a keen eye for perfectly collecting then arranging myriad tiny things. I’ve received her greeting cards, I’ve given her greeting cards and I’ve swooned over the littlest items featured in her creations with the highest pitched squeals. I had an idea for a nautical-inspired design featuring the word AHOY! and she was instantly enthusiastic about it. I handed over a few of my own tiny things and then she handled everything else with her expert eye and style. The following two process photos were sent to me by Marie.

I asked Karah Ellington of Tuff Girl Gang to create some corresponding pencils for the occasion, and don’t you agree it’s the cutest duo?

These collabs give me LIFE! They’re so fun to dream up and the people I’ve been able to work with are all so talented, kind and generous.

Now…what’s next???
