Introducing FoxSea Lady

FoxSea was founded in 2015, after decades of playing around with raw ingredients and some pretty terrible DIY recipes (every budding beauty junkie tried a mayo hair mask at some point, yes?). After moving from Boston, Massachusetts back to my home state of Indiana, I transitioned from the luxury spa industry to freelance writing, which left me with quite a bit of free time and a near empty bank account. My husband and I had a second child during this time and I found myself missing the beauty industry in the quiet moments between tummy time and nursing. I went back to my roots and started blending oils, then loving a few formulas so much I felt comfortable gifting bottles to friends. Those supportive friends (and some family members) encouraged me to start a little company and sell the concoctions to the public. So I did. And here we are. There’s a lot of story in between 2015 and now (January 2020), and I’ve documented mistakes, launches and events on my freelance writing site (navigatewithstyle.com) and on FoxSea’s social media, but this newly launched blog (FoxSea Lady, that’s me), solely dedicated to my favorite side hustle that hopefully will turn into my main hustle, will be the anecdotal outlet for all things FoxSea going forward. I’m excited to share product updates, my intense love for Cape Cod and the endless inspiration the ocean gives to me each day.
