One of my favorite things to bring home from the Cape each year is locally harvested salt. Cape Cod Saltworks has been producing solar harvested salts from the waters off Chatham for years and the gorgeous flakes are the most fantastic finish to any culinary creation. I particularly enjoy them sprinkled over my backyard tomatoes - no snack is finer!
My Circus Lady friends and I, along with many of our kids, hosted a bake sale to benefit a local organization, The Friends and Family Fund for Southeast Fort Wayne this summer. We raised a ton of money, had an absolute blast, and did it in our own, Circus-y way.
For my 42 birthday in May 2020, I was surprised by friends and family with a FoxSea-themed parade (set to Baccara’s Yes Sir, I Can Boogie), complete with some of the greatest nautical, homemade costumes and props. Sea for yourselves.
I am the FoxSea Lady, aka Salty Lady from time to time, also answering to Bunny Von Foxcroft, 23Skidooooo, Jen-boo, Drunk Aunt Jen Jen, Pants, Lovey, Mumma, Foxy, Mrs. Fox, Jenna, Dodda, Jenna Dodda, JDF and Genevieve (I think that’s all of them).
FoxSea was founded in 2015, after decades of playing around with raw ingredients and some pretty terrible DIY recipes (every budding beauty junkie tried a mayo hair mask at some point, yes?).
